Welcome to a world full of sun spots! It's about Love, Life, Fairy Tales, Useless Things and a little bit philosophical Thoughts. And 2009 it's a lot about Sydney and Australia.

Piazza Navona
Papstkirche Santa Maria Maggiore
Rom! Muss man mit eigenen Augen gesehen haben!

Unbelievable, how much Romanticism a town made of stone can provoke! Rome! You must have seen it with your own eyes!

Herbstlaubrechen

Vier Leute, Innenwelt unbekannt,
hatten Rechen in der Hand
und kämmten das hohe Laub
aus einer Wiese Haar.

Zum 5. Geburtstag

Die Welt ist ein schöner Ort,
seit ich erkannt habe,
dass sie ein schöner Ort ist.

The world is a beautiful place,
since I've realized
she is a beautiful place.

Happy Birthday SUNFLECKR!

Novembernebelnächtens

Die Raben erzählen von letzter Nacht.
Haben Märchen mitgebracht.
Was übrig geblieben von all den Träumen.
Hängengeblieben in den kahlen Bäumen.
Verwebte Träumefäden.

PS: Da morgen SUNFLECKR's 5.

The bird

That is not the bird I mean. It's only a blackbird in front of my house. On the Backside of my house grows a big tree. He is beautiful. He has loads of green leafs and long flexible branches. He is always dancing. He's flirting with the wind, beckoning the clouds, painting my room with dancing sun spots and a big fat friend of the sun.
Yesterday after thunderstorms a wonderful light was in the top of my tree. I lounge around on my sofa just looking outside. Then a big bird like a falcon came flying and sat down right in this web of light. It was a special one and I couldn't say for sure, what it was. I went to fetch my camera and then the bird was gone. I was waiting a good while and went on my balcony, because there was suddenly a lust for snapping a bird. So I've got this. Just a blackbird.

Time for listening

I haven't anything to say any longer. I told you and me everything, which I've struggled for. I told my stories, that I told myself over and over again and I asked all my questions. By asking you as my invisible audience I was asking myself for real and I've got answers. This was the real essence of sunfleckr - a good working platform to find out a little bit more about me.

Now (that means from the beginning of this year) it's my time to listen. Everywhere I find springs of smart thoughts and (possibly more important) possibilities to express some people’s better running relationship to themselves in words. People create a new way to think - a new world of thinking, feeling and being. (Oh, now I'm afraid, it sounds too lofty... I hope not.)

Some people in my life are struggling with facebook and all the other social networks. With stuff like that we will running a risk to lose in artificial relationships, lost our last natural connection to reality and nature and health and give all of our personal dates to an unseen monopole to control us perfectly.

However, there is also so much positive action you can experience. It's incredible and gives hope. One example is "Frog and the well" on facebook. He is really wise and funny and I love his pictures and his point of view.

PS: Not everything changes of course. I'm still looking for sun spots and the little ordinary things in my environment. Still beeing astonished, but a little bit more thankful.

waiting for spring and heat

It's not that funny! Greyness, frost, the bleakness of trees, all these black and grey winter jackets... I can't see it anymore.
I want to welcome the sun not less than 5 hours a day! I would be deeply grateful to sit in fresh grass without catching a cold. I should like to observate butterflies and being astonished that the bumble-bee can fly. All that I want. It is vital!

PS: the picture has shot last Sunday -a warm and friendly day on the river Ilm in Weimar.

What can I do in a new way?

Yes, there is it -the new year. Every year at this time it's the same. Wondering, am I satisfied with the last year? How many times I was awake or alive, how many feelings I've could feel? Are this feelings somewhere in me yet? Which people I've met, which experiences? Are there some new perceptions? Is there an development? How many times I was happy, unlucky or asleep without interest or awareness? Am I happy by now?
Then it's important to say: 'Yes, this was a good year.' or 'Oh no, it was horrible, I'll try to forget this.' or 'I say, it was ok, nevermind.' (ok, it's seldom. It's not typical for me). And then I create plans. What can I decide to do in this brand new year?

I must tell you I'm tired with stuff like that. However, I have an idea for the next days or weeks. It's about upshots and plans. There are different possibilities:
1. I conclude my day in one sentences or three points (every day if it's possible)
2. I tell you my cognition of the day.
3. I share my plans with you at the end of the day (for doing this, it's necessary to find out what I want)

Maybe, you can find a tiny evolution in this. It's not anymore about watching but more about sensing -less how it is, more what it really  is. Let's try!

Was man im November so denkt

Nov. 2006
Nov. 2007
Nov. 2008
Nov. 2009

Alles in allem:

...hab ich was vergessen?

Postcard Country

A friend of mine, who lives in Switzerland since a while, says you can only shot kitschy photos in these countryside. I'm always surprised that you need only one day off there to calm completely down.

Slow motion of the white

I like the dazzling/ dazlious white very much. It's really really wintertime! In Weimar is it very seldom. I like:
  • the noise by walking through the frozen snow
  • to jump into a big mountain of snow and leap from snowdrift to snowdrift
  • painting a large sun in the snow and giggling, when a friend notice the snow planet out of her window
  • dicover that doves obvously are cold. They puff up till they look like grey snow balls.
  • to discuss how arise icicles and what excactly hoar frost is
  • to notice that a collegue, who's from siberia, is feeling lucky at last because of the snow
  • the traffic and the people are moving slower and calming down. Everything is in slow motion.

New Year's Eve Blues

New Year's Eve is actually worse than Christmas Holidays. Ok, there are couples and young families which don't care about it. However, the hour between the years seems to be a really sad moment for the seeking people. I'm not that sure why. It also happens when they have had a year with many good moments and reasons to smile and feeling alive. Furthermore there are some points they can looking forward. The switch from the old to the new year is maybe something like a magic moment when you really need feeling secure. If you haven't yet arrived in this mood, you feel the sadness about it very clearly in this moment .

What do you think about this phenomenon?

German Time is Winter Time

I can't get that's hot summer in Sydney and people on facebook are talking about their sunburn. Because of that and because I know a lot of people from Brazil and maybe Mexico are jealous of our seasons and loads of snow, I went for a walk on sunday. Here is a small conclusion of winter impressions from the last two years.

37 Monate SUNFLECKR

Comments).

It's Sunfleckr's anniversary. Time to come out with your name or nickname and the city you live. Please, write in the comments. I'm very pleased about you regularly visits!

Wiedersehen mit Egon

You: Yes, Internet makes the world smaller than a Orange.

Egon: That's interesting. My brain contains 41121 categories, but not one that matches your last input.

Angkor Wat, Kambodscha

Iguacu, Brasilien
"Naivität ist die Schwester des Reisens." [Ingo Petz, Kuckusuhren in Baku]
"Greenness is the sister of travel." [Ingo Petz, Kuckusuhren in Baku]
...maybe this is the reason, because I have no problem to visit Cambodia. However I can't go alone to Brazil (I really want to see the Iguacu Waterfalls AND Angkor Wat). I know a little bit about Brazil but nothing about Cambodia. In any case nothing more than Tomb Rider.
