I bought a good English Dictionary -the Concise Oxford English Dictionary. There you can find a list of foreign words that used in the Anglosphere. I heard from that already bevor. It's funny to know, that people talk about HEIMSPIEL (literally home match). Much less funny are the words WELTSCHMERZ (literally world pain), BLITZKRIEG (literally lightning war) or SCHADENFREUDE (literally joy from harm). I think, it tells a lot about the mentality of a folk, if their words are so strong -much more stronger than people from other countries can say it in their own language, because it's not only the word but the whole meaning, even the mentality of a whole nation.
Welcome to a world full of sun spots! It's about Love, Life, Fairy Tales, Useless Things and a little bit philosophical Thoughts. And 2009 it's a lot about Sydney and Australia.
PS: Here are also some english posts with the label "please in english". Find out that life is really a box of chocolates!

There is no other way to say WELTSCHMERZ
