Self debugging

Some time ago I heard about the bug in the computer, especially in the software. Whenever there is an error in the system resp. the entire thing doesn’t works you have to search the one tiny error in the generated code called bug. The reason for this name comes from a time when computer were huge like a cupboard.
There didn’t comes a text or a diagram out in a 1/10 second as an answer to your problem but a long small punched tape after days. (I’m originally from East Germany, so I know those old fashion things quite well.)
One day, during a hard search for the error, people checked the inside of the large computer and found a real bug. Since that a software error is a bug and the settling is debugging.
I like the idea of self debugging (in German “Selbstentkäferung”). Debugging of the imaginations and the illusions. It’s like cleaning your hope.
Doesn’t our small neuroses and quirks are like little bugs in our system, does they? It would be nice to find them putting it in a box like an ant farm. So you have a chance to observe them and to learn a lot about yourself.

I love this idea. Debugging-- and looking at all the bugs as in an aunt farm. I think I would have a lot of bugs to examine. But then think of all the room that would create for a bigger imagination. And more hope!

Carmen: Yes, it will be great! Let's build an aunt farm as a new source of amusement and fill the resulting places with loads of hope and happiness! That is a very good deal!
