old fashion but favorite clothes

Do you know this: Your other half or mother hate this beat-up shirt or trouser deeply. From time to time he/ she try to hide it in the dumpster or clothes donation. However, you contend for your loving one.
One lovely story is about the pullover from a friend. He've inherited it from his father and the father have got this as he was a child. Of course, time was hard and the shop windows were empty. I think, it was a green-brown fasciated stuff and the little father was very ashamed to wear it. So the large-hearted mum coloured it black. Over the years the thing washed out and it becomes more and more brown-dark-brown. As my friend have found this old thing from his father, was it the coolest thing at all. He weard it many years.
